Clinical Psychotherapist · Clinical Director · Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy
For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my career to helping couples and individuals build stronger, more secure relationships. I specialize in relationship therapy, and I work with couples who find themselves having the same arguments over and over, feeling emotionally disconnected, or struggling to repair trust after painful experiences. If that resonates with you, please know that showing up here is an act of courage, and it tells me there is still something worth fighting for.

Why I Fight Hard for Couples and Relationships
I fight hard for couples because I know what's at stake. When two people come to me, they're not just asking for skills or strategies. They're handing me their deepest hopes, fears, and the fragile thread of their bond. Behind every conflict is a longing to feel safe, cherished, and deeply understood by the person who matters most.
Many of the couples I work with deeply love each other but feel stuck in frustrating patterns where conversations quickly turn into criticism, defensiveness, or withdrawal. Over time, these patterns can leave partners feeling alone, misunderstood, or unsure how to reconnect. I believe that love, when nurtured and protected, has the power to heal wounds, rewrite painful patterns, and create a lasting legacy of connection.
My primary approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most research-supported and effective forms of couple therapy. EFT focuses on understanding the emotional and attachment needs that drive relationship conflict and distance. Through this work, couples learn how to recognize the cycle they are caught in, communicate their deeper needs more openly, and respond to one another in ways that create greater safety, understanding, and connection.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and am currently in the process of becoming a Certified EFT Therapist. I am also a Level 2 trained Gottman Method therapist, integrating practical tools that support communication, conflict repair, and relationship resilience.
My clients are often couples who care deeply about their relationships and are committed to personal growth and emotional well-being. Through online therapy, I work with couples and individuals across Texas and Illinois. Your love deserves more than general advice. It deserves the kind of focused, research-backed care that gives you the tools to heal, rebuild, and thrive together.
My Clinical Approach
Emotionally Focused Therapy
My clinical work is primarily grounded in the gold-standard Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based model that helps couples understand and transform the emotional patterns that create conflict and disconnection.
Rather than focusing only on surface-level communication issues, EFT helps partners explore the deeper emotions and needs that drive their interactions. By identifying the negative cycle partners become trapped in, therapy helps couples move away from blame and defensiveness and toward greater empathy, responsiveness, and emotional safety. This is where hearts begin to shift, and it is the work I am most passionate about.
Gottman Method Integration
I also integrate interventions from the Gottman Method to strengthen communication skills, improve conflict management, and help couples build a stronger, more resilient relationship.
Together, these evidence-based methods create a compassionate, safe space where your emotional wounds are acknowledged, your hopes are nurtured, and the foundation for trust and love can grow again. With over two decades of experience walking alongside couples, I am continually inspired by the transformation that unfolds when trust is rebuilt and emotional intimacy is restored.
